Andrew Scheman MD, FAAD

Dr. Andrew Scheman is a board certified dermatologist with special expertise in allergic contact dermatitis and occupational dermatology. He is author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and medical journal articles. Dr. Scheman is an Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and was the director of the American Contact Dermatitis Society’s CAMP (Contact Allergy Management Program) database. His previous positions include Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Johns Hopkins University and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loyola University.
Dr. Scheman is also a recognized expert on anti-aging skin care products and noninvasive anti-aging procedures. He headed one of the original 100 national Botox training centers and has extensive experience with Botox, cosmetic fillers, Kybella and other non-surgical anti-aging procedures. Dr. Scheman is the primary author of 8 editions of Pocket Guide to Medications Used in Dermatology and Consumer Reports Cosmetic Buying Guide. He has been featured as an expert in the field of cosmetics on The Today Show, Good Morning America, ABC's 20-20, and CNN News, as well as in numerous magazines, newspapers, and radio and TV programs.
Dr. Scheman is an honorary member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society, and was the Chicago Dermatologic Society’s Practitioner of the Year in 2012. He was also the Alexander Fisher Lecturer for the American Contact Dermatitis Society in 2015.
